Dining options in San Felipe vary from push cart vendors, hawking their wares along the beach or a street, to world-class restaurants, and restaurant possibility in between... with heavy emphasis on seafood, since San Felipe is located along the beautiful Sea of Cotez. Enjoy the reviews I've published about San Felipe restaurants! Restaurant Chencho's: Offers indoor and patio dining, great food, served by friendly people. Classic, Mexican "family style" restaurant. I enjoy a breakfast of chorizo, eggs, beans and tortillas. Restaurante de Comida China y Cantonesa China-Loa: Serves delicious, authentic Cantonese Chinese food, in a comfortable dining room. You won't leave this place hungry! Baja Dogs: Small vendor that serves Baja-style, bacon wrapped hot dogs and hamburgers, from a street corner in downtown San Felipe. Taqueria Adriana: Seafood, mariscos, fish tacos and more... Friendly people, great, open-to-the-street restaurant, and a great place to enjoy delicious fish tacos and more. Aury: Small restaurant, operated from a trailer, that offers delicious hamburgers, hot dogs and fried potatoes. Has one table, and is located on the sidewalk, on Av. Malecon. International Rosita Restaurant: Features delicious fish tacos, mariscos and seafood, friendly service, and comfortable, outdoor dining, with a gorgous view of the Maleccón and the Sea of Cortez. Rice and Beans: Serves delicious seafood, mariscos and fish tacos, along Av. Malecon. Offers breathtaking view of the Sea of Cortez, and comfortable, shaded, outide dining. Restaurant El Capitan: Classy, elegant, but very informal and family-friendly, this wonderful restaurant is located at Hotel El Capitan, and featues delicious food and exceptionally friendly service. Mariscos Conchita: Located along the beautful Maleccón, this taqueria serves delicious seafood at unbeliveably low prices. La Morena: Specializes in delicious seafood tacos, but the restaurant features other items that are not advertised, or featured on the menu. La Morentita: Co-located across the parking lot from La Morena, La Morentita featues comfortable, outdoor dining, colorful decor, and great seafood tacos. Licoreita La Playa: Comfortable, two-story restaurant, small operation with limited menu, La Playa serves fish tacos, and other seafood dishes, in San Felipe Style. Mariscos Conchita (Reprise): I pay this restaurant a second visit, as few other restaurants were open at the time, and because their food is delicious, the atnosphere is wonderful, and the prices are very, very low. Loncheria La Playa: A mom and pop restaurant, located along the maleccón, this restaurant serves delicious fish tacos, cooked right in front of you, and all of the trimmings. El Japatio: How does a steaming hot bowl of menudo sound for breakfast? Or how about Birria de Res, or Birria de Chivo? El Japatio sells Mexican stews, tacos, jugos, and more... El Truper: This beach vendor sells bagged pistacio and macadamia nuts from a wheelbarrow, and he actually makes a living this way... Hotel El Capitan: It isn't fancy, but it's within walking distance of everything San Felipe has to offer, it's clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly. Copyright(c) 2012 eRench Productions.
