Rocklin Brewfest 2026... what an experience for lovers of micro beer, complete with an amazing assortment of food, music, games, along with the great company of fellow "foodies" and beer lovers!  Three hours of all you-can-drink beer, along with food, live music and games... what could be a better way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in early June?

With over forty breweries, along with a handful of wineries present at the event, it was impossible for me to visit more than a handful of them, as the event was very large!  Also, I attempted to pace myself, so as to remain mostly sober, even though I had a ride home after the event.  Drinking and driving has no place in my life!

So, here are a few photos of this amazing event, that took place Saturday, June 06, 2026, thanks to the efforts of the great crew of the South Placer Rotary Club, located in Rocklin, CA.

Photo:  It's just before the 01:00 in the afternoon opening time, Saturday, June 06, 2026, and I've got my ticket in hand, and I'm at the gate of the VIP section of the 2026 edition of the Rocklin Brewfest, a can't-miss-event for all "foodies" and lovers of craft beer.  This year there were over forty breweries from Placer County and all over northern California.

I went with a VIP ticket, which got me into the event a half hour early, a much larger pour glass, fast pass access to the brewfest, access to an air conditioned lounge along with a free appetizer prepared by Rocklin-local restaurant University of Beer.  I purchased my VIP ticket back in mid-March, as the event limits them to only a couple hundred tickets, and they sell out fast.

Photo:  After showing my ID - this is a 21 or older event and IDs are checked - and my ticket, I received a VIP gold wristband, a VIP pass to wear around my neck so I could enjoy all of the VIP perks I paid for, along with a much larger beer glass.

To me, the best perks about paying for VIP status was the much larger beer glass, and fast pass access to each brewer, which made for almost no waiting in line. For general admission, you have a much smaller pour glass and you have to wait in line to receive a pour.  Since I love craft beer, it's worth paying the few extra dollars to purchase a VIP ticket.

Photo:  Two Ass Brewing Company, an Auburn local microbrewery was handing out "Ale of the Gods," a delicious West Coast IPA that happens to be one of my favorites.  It so happens that I enjoyed a flight of their fine beer a couple weeks ago, as I visited their tasting room.  I love their beer!

Photo:  Jackrabbit Brewing Company, of West Sacramento, was pouring two of their beers, and I went with "Rise and Grind," a coffee stout beer.  It had a definite taste of coffee and would make for a great start to a weekend morning.

Photo:  Farmers Brewing Co., which puts the small Colusa County farming community of Princeton on the map, was pouring four of the five beers they produce. Their brewery is located on a fifth-generation family farm in the country, and their fine beer is distributed all over northern California.  I chose a pour of their "Garage Dweller," which is a delicious hazy IPA.

Photo:  I'm a happy guy, as I give the friendly Farmers Brewing Co. bartender a thumbs up, as I raise my mug of "Garage Dweller" and toast the friendly staff at the Rocklin Brewfest.

Photo:  Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, of Chico, CA was pouring their fruity "Mango IPA" beer with a smile.  The "Mango IPA" was a little too "fruity" for my taste, as I prefer their signature "Pale Ale."

Photo:  Granite Bay Brewing Company, located in the Granite Bay area of Roseville, on the shore of Folsom Lake, was pouring their delicious "Something Light," a light, full-bodied ale.  I've enjoyed many a beer at their brewery and tasting room, as it's an easy hike and a bus ride from my house.  I plan to pay them another visit, in person, in a couple weeks.

Photo:  Today's live entertainment was provided by Groove Thang, a Sacramento band who performs a mix of 70's and 80's old school R&B, Motown, smooth jazz, rock, with a little bit of country thrown in for good measure.  I enjoyed listening to their fine music!

Photo:  Meet talented Carol Garcia, who is the lead singer and front person of the band.  She and the band provided awesome entertainment and helped to lend a festive atmosphere to the event.

Photo:  By around 2:00 in the afternoon, the event was full, but not crowded, as the promoters limited ticket sales to around 2000 or so.  Today's weather was perfect, as it was mostly sunny, with a temperature in the low to mid 80's.

Photo:  These friendly ladies were enjoying the afternoon and were more than happy for me to take their photo.

Photo:  The friendly staff at Sutter Buttes Brewing Co., located in nearby Yuba City, was pouring two of their delicious beers, including their "Water Tower" IPA, which really hit the spot.  Their brewery also showcases a restaurant that is known for some of the best wood-fired pizza in Yuba City.  At least that's what I hear, as I haven't had the pleasure to visit them as of this writing, but their brewery and restaurant is on my list...

Photo:  Good times were enjoyed by all!

Photo:  I toast the friendly staff of Sutter Buttes Brewing Co. as I enjoy my pour of "Water Tower" IPA.  Cheers!

Photo:  Crooked Lane Brewing Company, located in nearby Auburn, was pouring four varieties of their refreshing craft beer, including "Auburn Ultra," an American lager, which was my choice today.  The friendly bartended poured my beer from the tap and handed it to me with a smile.

Back on Saturday, February 21, 2026 I enjoyed an "Oktoberfest Amber Pilsner" beer along with a "Kona" pizza at their fine brewery, which also has a small co-located restaurant.  Click on THIS LINK to enjoy my visit to this fine brewery and restaurant.

Photo:  Such a beautiful sight... my generous pour of "Auburn Ultra," from Crooked Lane Brewing Co., located in Auburn, CA.

Photo:  Fort Rock Brewing, out of Rancho Cordova, CA was pouring glasses of their "Dam Good Pils," a refreshing Czech style lager.  This beer is so good that it won a gold metal at the 2017 California State Fair Commercial Beer Competition.  Yes, it was "dam good" beer...

Photo:  My last photo of the event, as after three hours of non-stop beer drinking, I was simply full of beer!  It was a great thing that I had pre-arranged a ride home, as I was in no condition to drive.

I look forward to attending Rocklin Brewfest 2027, which will be held on Saturday, June 05, 2027.  Cheers!

With over forty breweries represented at the event, it was impossible to visit them all even half of them!  Another funny thing is that I was so  busy enjoying beer, that I didn't get around to enjoying the free appetizer from University of Beer that my V.I.P. ticket bought me!  Oh well... I'm already looking forward to next year's event.

The South Placer Rotary Club orchestrated an amazing event, with great beer, good times, great food vendors, with a little bit of local Placer County wine on the side.  I enjoyed myself more than you can imagine,  but my major regret is that I didn't even come close to sampling beer from each of the amazing vendors!  By golly... you can only drink so much beer at a time.

Good times... all-you-can-drink craft beer... good food and friendly locals... what more could you ask for to enjoy an amazing Saturday afternoon in early June?  Rocklin Brewfest is a beer and "foodie" event you never can afford to miss!
