Two Ass Brewing Company is a small microbrewery located in Auburn, CA, and brews a wide array of craft beer and hard seltzers.  The combined brewery and taproom are located off High St. at the upper end of downtown Auburn.  The brewery is open every day of the week for your microbrewery enjoyment.

As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the brewery reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to enjoy fine beer, and I love to write-up, and publish my microbrewery experiences.

Photo:  It's a little past the noon opening time, Saturday, May 23, 2026 and I've arrived at Two Ass Brewing Company, located on Hoffman Ave., at the top end of downtown Auburn, CA.  It's time to enjoy some great Auburn-brewed beer!

Photo:  The tasting room is quite large, with many tables, lots of merchandise for sale and a bar at the end, with all of the beers and seltzers on tap.

Photo:  Inside the taproom there are three large fermentation vessels to add to the brewery atmosphere, and there are more in back, as the beer, ale and seltzer is made in this building by the talented staff.

Photo:  A portion of the selections were posted on a separate board, next to the taps, which made things easy for me.  I like to keep things simple, so I ordered a flight of the first four listings on the menu.

Photo:  Bartender Frank pours my choices from the tap.  Notice the colorful menu posted above.  The complete menu, along with descriptions is posted on the brewery's website, with is listed at the end of this article.

Photo:  Bartender Frank finishes pouring my flight, and places it on the counter.  Each pour was on the generous side - probably 4 ounces - and at $11.00 for a flight of four samples, it was a great deal.

Photo:  The weather this Saturday afternoon in late May was in the low 80's, which made for a beautiful day to enjoy my beer outside on the spacious patio.  My flight is set up on the table in the middle of the photo and I'm ready to enjoy the beer... along with the beautiful Placer County afternoon.

Photo:  What beer do you order when you visit a new microbrewery?  Or... do a want a lager, Pilsner or an IPA?  A flight of beer to the rescue!  When it comes to flights of beer, it's all good, but after enjoying a flight, it occasionally is difficult for me to remember the beers I enjoyed.  So today I kept things simple and went with the first four beers on the menu.  I don't care for hard seltzer, so I didn't choose to fly in that direction.

I went with a flight of four beers, including...

Coltish:  Super crisp, golden Kolsch, with a hint of German hops.  It was very light and mellow, and really hit the spot this afternoon.

Danke Esel:  German style Pilsner, with some bitter taste and malt in a lighter beer.  I found this quite robust and I'm always a sucker for a great German Pilsner beer.

Ale of the Gods IPA:  Two Ass Brewing Company's flagship traditional West Coast IPA with tropical notes and a smooth, full bodied beer.  Full bodied, "hoppy" and delicious!  My kind of beer!

First Draft IPA:  Double IPA, smooth, with a hint of citrus, and very strong, with 8.3% alcohol.  I felt this with one sip and I loved it!

You can't go wrong with any of these beers, as they were all simply delicious.  I slowly sipped them, savoring each refreshing swallow, taking mental notes and trying to figure out which one I like the most.  Please note that I loved all of them, so trying to pick my favorite wasn't an easy task!  But in the end, I went with "Ale of the Gods IPA" as there's nothing that I love in life more tan a traditional West Coast IPA beer.

Photo:  I'm a happy guy as I raise my pour of "Coltisch" and toast the friendly staff at Two Ass Brewing Company, located in Auburn, CA.

Two Ass Brewing Company is the go-to place for Auburn locals who appreciate delicious craft beer and hard seltzers, brewed in small batches by talented brewmasters, and served by friendly staff.  No matter what your taste in beer, you'll find your pleasure on the menu, and you'll enjoy every drop!  Two Ass Brewing Company, located in downtown Auburn, CA.
