Are you in the mood for an adventure?  Yes, I do many other things beside enjoying fine dining and writing restaurant reviews.  Photography, railroading, bird watching, camping, exploring, four wheeling... you name it.  

Rocklin Rocket Works Sierra Pacific Industries:  The "Rocklin Rocket" is a Union Pacific Railroad turn that works industries on the Valley Subdivision from Roseville to Oroville.  I photo the action as the Rocket switches cars at Sierra Pacific Industries, located near Lincoln, CA.

Big Boy #4014 Steam Action:  April 2026, the world's largest operating steam engine went on a west coast tour, and I spend two days taking action photos on the Valley Subdivision, along with two days while on public display in Roseville, CA.

Roseville Subdivision Railfanning:  Saturday, April 04, 2026, I spent morning and afternoon railfanning Union Pacific Railroad operations in the Gold Run, CA area, on the Overland Route.  I photographed three freight trans and Amtrak's California Zephyr.

No Kings Day Protest:  Yes... we have our share of socialist liberals in western Placer County and many of them got together to protest against the Trump Administration, and all that's good in the country.  Westfield Galleria Mall, Roseville, CA.

Roseville Subdivision Railfanning:  Saturday, November 01, 2025 I spent several hours by the tracks, watching and photographing Union Pacific and Amtrak mainline railroad action, at Colfax, CA.
