Egg Factory is a small chain of three restaurants, located in the greater Boise, Idaho area.  The restaurants are open for breakfast and lunch, and features stick-to-your-ribs favorites, and service with a smile.  The motto of this fine restaurant is "Enjoy the kind of food you'd cook if you only had the time," and the slogan true, as the food is served, "just like mama used to make it."

As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  It's about 07:30 in the morning, Saturday June 13, 2020, and I've arrived at Egg Factory, located in Nampa, Idaho, to enjoy a delicious breakfast.  Due to a couple of exits being blocked on the freeway, and not being familiar with the area, I had some difficulty finding the restaurant, but the "find" was worth the "effort."

Photo:  As you enter the restaurant, you'll be in the main dining room, with the entrance to the kitchen to the right. The other dining room - where I sat - is separated from the main dining room by the kitchen, and a wall.

Due to the current virus crisis, tables have been spaced further apart in order to allow for "social distancing."

Photo:  The decor is "country," in keeping with the "mission" and the name of the restaurant, chickens decorate the restaurant.

Photo:  Looking into the "main" dining room, you'll find the cashier's station near the entrance.  Note the pine waistcoating and the "country" decor.

Photo:  The first section of the "Breakfast" menu caught my attention, as it features "my" kind of breakfast selections.  After carefully looking over the menu, I went with the "Sausage Lover's," as that perfectly describes my taste.

Photo:  I'm not a big fan of omelettes , pancakes, waffles or French toast, but occasionally, I'll order just for something different.  If these choices are your favorites, you'll love the second page of the menu.

Photo: Egg Factory features a lovely outdoor patio, but on this rainy Saturday morning, it wasn't in use.  If it hadn't been raining, most likely I would have dined on the patio, as I love outdoor dining.  As you dine, you'll be treated to the "action" happing on Caldwell Blvd...

Photo:  After placing my order, it was delivered to me in only about 10 minutes by my amazingly friendly server, Misti A.  Unfortunately, during these COVID-19 times, she had to wear a mask and gloves, but I could see she was smiling.  She's a very friendly person and a great server.

Photo:  Thanks, Misti for snapping my photo, as I get ready to enjoy my "Sausage Lover's" breakfast.

Photo:  From the "Farmstyle" section of the breakfast menu, I ordered the "Sausage Lover's" as this breakfast includes everything I love, and pretty well illustrates my opinion of an amazing breakfast.

The menu describes the "Sausage Lover's" as, "A sausage lover's array of two link sausages, a sausage patty, three scrambled eggs with crumbled sausage, and our Factory Potatoes or Hash Browns, smothered in our homemade country sausage gravy."  The meal also includes what the menu calls "Breakfast Bread," which is your choice of toast and jam, cinnamon roll, pancakes, buttermilk biscuit of a dish of biscuit and gravy.  I don't think I've ever seen such a wide array of "bread," offered for breakfast, but as my de facto standard, I went with biscuit and gravy.

The sausage links and patty were juicy, cooked perfectly and tender.  The three eggs were scrambled, and included large chunks of sausage, which made for an exceptional egg delight.  As the menu states, you get the choice of "Factory Potatoes," or "Hash Browns," and as my friendly server, Misti, was taking my order, I mentioned something like, "That's a hard decision," and she suggested I order "half and half."  That's new to me, and I JUMPED at her suggestion!

The "Factory Potatoes" were simply potato cut into cubes, and deep fried to a golden brown.  The hash browns were... hash browns, but both varieties of potatoes were perfectly deep fried to a perfect golden brown, and covered by the country gravy.  The gravy was simply amazing, as it was flavorful, tasty and had lots of chunks of sausage in it.

The side of biscuit and gravy certainly complimented the main dish, as the biscuit was freshly baked, and covered with more of the delicious sausage gravy.

If you're a "sausage lover," you'll LOVE this fine breakfast!

Photo:  Just the "main" plate of my breakfast, showing all of the goodness.  The eggs were so delicious that I didn't add any hot sauce, or salt or pepper.  Note the chunks of sausage in the gravy.  Such a delicious breakfast at Egg Factory, located in Nampa, Idaho.  This is a breakfast lover's delight!

The breakfast I enjoyed at Egg Factory was simply amazing!  My "Sausage Lover's" breakfast arrived in only about ten minutes, with a smile from my server, the food was cooked perfectly, the "plating" was pretty, and there was a LOT of breakfast to enjoy.

If you're a lover of fine Idaho cuisine, I highly recommend Egg Factory, located in Nampa, Idaho.
