The menu at Vince's Spaghetti Express claims that over 21 tons of spaghetti are served every month, and that over 15,000 miles of spaghetti are served every year... Holy cow! That's a lot of spaghetti! While we were visiting our daughter, Jacquie, in Canyon Lake, my wife's cousin Theresa invited us to dinner at Vince's Spaghetti Express in Temecula, which is roughly the half-way point between Canyon Lake, and San Marcos, where Theresa and her family live. Theresa assured us that we'd love Vince's, so we took her up on her word...
Photo: We met my wife's cousin and her family for dinner at Vince's Spaghetti Express on early Thursday evening, May 4, 2011. Everything about Vince's is attractive, including the building and the landscaped parking lot, that offers plenty of free parking.
Photo: Our friendly server takes our dinner orders. The menu is posted above the kitchen, and you can catch a glimpse inside the kitchen below the menu. The dining room is clean, attractive, comfortable and very family-friendly.
Photo: Dinners at Vince's Spaghetti Express include soup and salad, and our soup and salad arrives on a serving cart.
Photo: My cup of vegetable soup and fresh garden salad. I rarely apply dressing to my salad, as I prefer to eat my salad rabbit-style.
Photo: Theresa presents her attractive antipasto salad, with ham, salami, pepperoni, olives, and topped with provolone cheese to my digital camera. Actually, she offered the peppers to me to pick off and eat, as she's not a fan of peppers.
Photo: Our main course arrives, as Martin eagerly anticipates his plate of spaghetti that is being placed on the table in front of him.
Photo: My full order of spaghetti, topped with optional provolone cheese. If you love quality spaghetti, I highly recommend Vince's Spaghetti Express, as the spaghetti is delicious, and you won't go away hungry.
Photo: The Keith and Rench families meet for dinner. From left to right: Eric, Emily, Lindsay, Martin, Theresa and Sharlene.
Photo: Lindsay was fascinated with my iPhone 4, as she has a 3, and she wanted to check out the differences and play with some of the many applications that are installed on my desk top. The photo finds her texting her mom, who is sitting across the table from her. Emily isn't shy at all, as she clowns for my camera. I seem to have become somewhat of a folk hero to my young cousins, as they recently witnessed me unsuccessfully attempting to eat a 12-egg omelet, and they seem to look up to me for taking on such a worthy feat.
Photo: Emily brings her meal home in a box the old fashioned way, as her sister, Lindsay, looks on. The girls asked that I take their photo and publish it, and I was all to happy to oblige, as I certainly love my young cousins! It was fun to spend the evening with the Keith family, and it was great to enjoy a delicious meal of spaghetti at Vince's Spaghetti Express... highly recommended by the Keith and the Rench families!
