You've found the World Wide Web's largest collection of illustrated reviews of Tijuana restaurants, taquerias, taco stands, and food carts!  Look no further, as I have posted the most complete to the Tijuana dining scene...


Restaurant Nelson:  Located inside the landmark Hotel Nelson, Restaurant Nelson serves delicious food, is open to the street, and features a full-service bar.

Magana's Tacos Restaurant Bar:  Located in the small town of La Mision, in the Tijuana municipality, this roadhouse serves a great breakfast, and lots more...

Hot Dog Guys:  Small hot dog and hamburger cart open evenings at the corner of Calle 2 and Av. Constución.  Sells Tijuana-style bacon-wrapped hot dogs.

Mariscos El Caracol:  Serves a huge variety of mariscos and seafood tacos.  I enjoy an octopus taco, which was a first for me.

Brother and Sister Hot Dogs:  Small hot dog and hamberger cart, operated by a brother and sister, with mom nearby, who sell good, but but very basis hot dogs for a reasonable price.

El Museo Restaurant:  Caters to tourists, yet the restaurant offers delicious Mexican cuisine, and offers a great people-watching place to park yourself on a bar stool, and enjoy the view...

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs:  Like most hot dog vendors, this guy only comes out in the late afternoon, and sells delicious Tijuana-style hot dogs at the base of the famous arch.

Taco Loco:  Located along the famed tourist walk, Articulo 123, this restaurant caters to tourists, but serves authentic Mexican food, and is a favorite of the locals.

Paco's Hot Dogs:  Grilled, bacon wrapped hot dogs served from small cart, located at the corner of 4th and Negrete, by Paco.  Delicious hot dogs!

Tacos Varios:  Manny's tacos have a not-so-secret ingredient that puts his tacos to the head of the line:  Rice.  But that's not all, as his tacos are some of the best in the Zona Centro.

Tacos de Cerveza:  This busy taco trailer gets their name from the beer they use in the batter for the fish tacos they sometimes serve...

Restaurant La Fuente:  Sure, they cater to tourists, as they're located near the Tijuana Arch, but their food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the servers are friendly.  And the menudo is great!

Sanborn's Hermanos:  Landmark, classy Tijuana restaurant that caters to the tastes of Americans, yet serves delicious, traditional, Mexican cuisine.

Calientitos Delicios:  Delicious bacon wrapped hot dogs, grilled to perfection by a street vendor, who sets up his cart under the fabled Tijuana arch.

Churros Mary:  Mary sets up her churro cart each day at the base of the famous Tijuana arch, and sells delicious deep fried churros to tourists, and locals alike.

Hot Dogs Exquisitos:  Another exquisite hot dog cart, operated by Eduardo, who sells very plain hot dogs at a reasonable price.

Tacos Varios "Lily":  Small taco stand located on Av. Amistad, across from McDonald's.  Offers several varieties of basic, yet delicious tacos, at bargain prices.

Tacos Biby's:  Mom and son restaurant that operates out of a small, well-worn trailer.  If you're a fan of tacos de tripas, you can't pass this place by...

Tacos Varios:  Operates from a small cart near the U.S. border, Tacos Varios features a variety of tacos, and is family owned and operated by very friendly people.  Oh yes, their tacos are delicious...

Tacos Amistad:  You'll run into this taco stand as soon as you enter Tijuana, and you don't want to pass this restaurant by, as their tacos are delicious.

Mr. Tequila:  One of the closest watering holes adjacent to the border, Mr. Tequila caters to gringos, but they offer surprisingly-good fish tacos, and $.99 draught beers, on the way to the Zona Norte...

Tacos Fitos:  A highly-rated taqueria, situated near the huge produce market in the Zona Rio, Tacos Fitos features outstanding birria and tripe tacos, and perhaps the friendliest staff that you'll find in Tijuana.

Chico's Happy Fish Tacos:  How can you go wrong with a name like Chico's Happy Fish Tacos?  Besides friendly staff and delicious tacos, Chico's offers $1.00 beers, and a great spot to people-watch.

Hot Dogs Exquisitos:  Hot dog cart located on busy Calle Articulo 123, that serves delicious bacon wrapped hot dogs to tourists and locals alike.

El Meño:  Serves custom made tacos al pastor at a price that simply unbelievable.  Just because their tacos are cheap doesn't mean they're not good... they're delicious!

Restaurant La Fonda Del Patio:  Features super friendly service, and delicious tacos, cooked on a grill in the street in front of the restaurant, and is a paradise for people watching, as you sip an icy, cold beer.

Emiliano's Tacos:  Specializes in carne asada, tripe and chorizo tacos, Jalisco-style, served by some of the friendliest folks west of downtown Tijuana.

Tacos El Chiapas:  Staffed by three guys who love to be photographed, and will keep you laughing, this place is no laughing matter when it comes to delicious carne asada tacos... yep, they're delicious!

Kentucky Fried Buches... Otra Vez:  How could I not resist enjoying a Tijuana exclusive dish... deep fried, chicken neck tacos, served with fresh corn tortillas, and some of the best salsa in town.

Lonchería Las Rosas:  Operated by two very friendly ladies, this little Mexican diner serves authentic Mexican breakfast and lunch cusine.

No Name Hot Dogs:  Small hot dog cart in the heart of downtown Tijuana that serves bacon wrapped hot dogs for only one dollar

McDonald's Restaurant:  Operates on the same format as it's U.S. counterparts, and the menu features all of your favorites, yet it offers selections a few Mexican selections, such as "Desayuno Especial Mexicano."

Tacos Varios de Victor:  Serves a variety of delicious, BIG tacos, from a small taco stand, on a busy street corner in downtown Tijuana, and seems to have become the talk of the town.

Rico's Elotes:  Small grilled corn vendor, located on the sidewalk in front of McDonald's, Rico's offers delicious ears of corn, on the cob or in a cup, grilled or boiled, with loads of condiments.

Kentucky Fried Buches:  What are Kentucky Fried Buches?  They are deep fried chicken neck tacos!  KBB, a Tijuana exclusive only sells buches, corn tortillas, and their delicious, in-house made salsa.

Hamburguesa de Loren:  Located under the Tijuana Arch, Loren's is a small food cart that sets up shop most evenings, and serves a delicious, premium burger, at a bargain price.

Mi Pollo:  Small diner that serves chicken cooked over a charcoal grill, pasta salad, corn tortillas, and fresh, in-house made salsa.  Delicous food at very reasonable prices.

Oriental Express:  Chinese cuisine in the Zona Norte!  Features Chinese food, catered to the tastes of the locals, and one of the few Chinese restaurants in the area.

Antojitos Mexicanos:  Small loncheria, open only for breakfast and lunch, this restaurant serves delicious food, at attractive prices,  unless you're a relative of the "health food police."

Restaurant La Jaibita de Jocelyn:  Small, family owned and operated restaurant, this place features very friendly staff, delicious food, and a full-service menu.

Pollos Asados el  Carbón:  Features chicken grilled over mesquite coals, delicious rice, beans, beans and freshly-made salsa on the side, for under $3.00 U.S. dollars.  Plus, you get a picture-perfect view of the activites in Tijuana's  famous Zona Norte for free while you dine!

Rosticeria Chico Pollo:  Fried chicken, Tijuana-style, complete with friendly service, comforatable dining, refried beans, rice and macaroni salad, for the small price of only MEX $28.00, in Tijuana's Zona Norte.

Wash Mobile Tortas:  World famous, at least on the Internet, I sample the best carne asada tortas in Tijuana, and perhaps the entire world.  Located in a small sidewalk stand, off busy Blvd. Agua Caliente.

Juan's Hot Dogs:  Seves delicious bacon wrapped Tijuana style hot dogs with a smile, under the Tijuana arch. Condiments include fresh salsa, mayonnaise, mustard, onions, and cheese!

La YeYe:  The place to go if you love juicy, messy, bacon wrapped hot dogs, loaded with grilled onions, diced tomatoes and white onions.  Oh yes!

Tacos Varios:  Small taco cart that offers six varieties of tacos, garnished by neon green salsa verde, on Av. Revolución, south of the major tourist zone.

Tacos Dos Hermanos:  Small propane fired taco cart, staffed by two brothers who serve birria and lengua tacos, stuffed with pinto beans.

El Poblado:  Small taco stand that serves delicious tacos al pastor for an unbelievably low price.  Very busy, and a favorite of the locals.

Mariscos Olas Atlas:  Fresh, delicious seafood cocktails, prepared on a busy street corner, under primitive conditions, which seem to make the mariscos taste even better.

Auto-Tortilleria La Mexicana:  If you're looking for a GIGANTIC bowl of the most delicious menudo that's brewed on the planet, look no further than La Mexicana, located in the auto repair district near downtown Tijuana

Tijuana Brewery:  The only microbrewery in Baja California, Cerveza Tijuana serves delicious, pilsner beer in elegant surroundings.

Se Vende Churros:  If you like churros, deep fried on the streets of Tijuana, you'll love this churro cart, staffed by two friendly ladies.

NoName Street Taco Stand:  Located on the sidewalk at the busy corner of Niños Heros, and Calle 2 in downtown Tijuana, this street taco stand serves delicious tacos, but enjoys almost too much business!

Taqueria Dinos:  Do  you like tacos?  Any type of tacos?  Especially tacos de tripa?  Check out Taqueria Dinos, on Calle 2, just a few meters away from "Av. Rev.," yet years away from the crazy stuff on Av. Revolución.

Tacos Al Vapor:  One of the friendliest restaurants that I've ever had the pleasure to visit in Tijuana, Tacos Al Vapor serves delicious posole and more, with the friendliest service that you'll ever enjoy...

El Problano:  Located at the corner of Calle 2 and Av. Madero off the tourist zone in Tijuana, this brother/sister operation specializes in tacos al pastor, roasted from a vertical spit, for under a dollar.

Taco La Fama:  If you crave birria or tacos de tripa, this little taco stand, located at the corner of Calle Hidalgo and Blvd. Pico Pico will fill your needs, and leave you with a full stomach, and a smile on your face.

Lonchería Anita's:  Located on famous Bv. Agua Caliente, Lonchería Anita's serves delicious breakfasts and lunches, with quick, friendly service, at rock-bottom prices.

Tacos El Taconazo:  Small taco stand, located on the sidewalk near a busy street corners, El Tacanazo serves delicious carne asada tortas, and much more, at very reasonable prices...

Tacos Barios:  Small, no-nonsence taco cart north of the main tourist zone, this cart is operated by one shy girl, and serves delicious tacos, that contain a huge surprise!

Loncheria Evelin:  Located west of the famous Zona Norte along Articulo 123, Loncheria Evelin is family owned and operated, and serves delicious carne asada tacos.

Pierna de Pollo:  If you're in the Zona Norte, and you're in the mood for a delicious, bargain-priced lunch, check out Pierna de Pollo and enjoy a chicken leg, beans, tortillas, cabbage and salsa verde for less than a couple of bucks.

Birria de Res:  This is a familiar taco stand in the Zona Norte that I paid visit to a couple of years ago, yet I couldn't resist a visit, as I learned the puesto was under new management!

Hot Dogs:  Sort of a "no name" hot dog vendor, who sets his hot dog cart up under Tijuana's famous arch, this guy serves true Tijuana-style hot dogs, that will make you crave for more.  The best part:  One dollar each!

Sabrosos Elotes Y Vasitos:  Boiled corn on the cob, sold from a push cart by the friendly "Corn Guy.

Mariscos Quina:  This small, very friendly restaurant specilizes in mariscos, but they serve full-service lunches, complete with fish soup, corn tortillas and delcious fish tacos."

La Pura Vita:  Small restaurant in Rosarito that serves delicious menudo, tacos, mariscos, fruit smoothies, and a whole lot more...

Leyva's Tacos:  A restaurant  institution situated near the heart of Tijuana's famed Av. Revolución, Leyva's combines great tacos, friendly service, and a Tijuana atnosphere that you'll remember for many years.
