Features illustrated write-ups and reviews of our dining experiences in the beautiful city of Ensenada, Baja California...

Birreria Teptitlan:  Small roadside restaurant, run by two of the friendliest women you'll ever meet.  Serves homestyle birria tacos, caldo do berria and refried beans.  Great place to enjoy birria!!

The Corn Guys:  Two guys sell roasted corn, grilled on a portable grill attached to a push cart, on the streets of downtown Ensenada every evening, after dark.

Mariscos El Atracon:  Located on "Fish Taco Row," near the Fish Market, this restaurant serves decent fish tacos, just like every other fish restaurant in the area.

Mariscos El Pulinganos:  Offers all varieties of your favorite seafood, Mariscos El Pulinganos is staffed by friendly people, and serves delicious fish tacos.

Mariscos El Mariachi:  Fish tacos, camarones, mariscos, sopas, tostatads... anything seafood can be found at Mariscos El Mariachi.  I enjoy lunch of two delicious fish tacos and a Mexican Coke.

Hot Dog Cart:  Operated by a husband and wife in downtown Ensenada, this small, unnamed cart sells delicious bacon-wrapped hot dogs and hamburgers at a bargain price.

Tacos El Chente:  Serves tacos, tortas and quesadillas twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.  Located on Blvd. Cardenas, near downtown Ensenada.

Kentucky Fried Chicken:  Largest KFC outlook that I've seen, this restaurant serves identical fare to its counterparts in the U.S.A.

Mariscos El Mariachi:  Features delicious seafood tacos, mariscos, very friendly staff, great prices, and includes all-you-can-eat tortilla chips.

Birrieria Rossy:  Small roadside restaurant, next to a municipal park, that offers a delicious bowl of birria de chivo, tacos, and other wonderful food.

Tamales De Elotoe:  Plywood stand at a busy highway junction, this restaurant sells homemade tamales made from corn, meat or cheese, plus home-canned salsa and olives.

Mariscos Tata:  Small push-cart vendor, this restaurant is a legacy on Av. Lopez Mateos, as it has been serving deliciously fresh mariscos in the same location for many years.

Tacomiendo:  Located near the fish market, this restaurant serves delicious fish tacos, and offers colorful decor, friendly service, an impressive menu, and a huge array of condiments.

Tamales De Margarita:  Margarita sells delicious homemade tamales from a small stand near a speed bump, on the way to La Bufadora.

Loncheria Rosita:  Open for breakfast and lunch, Loncheria Rosita serves delicious menudo, tacos and much more, located in the small town of Punta Banda.

Taco Riendo:  Fun athosphere, friendly staff, beautiful waitresses, Taco Riendo has it all, including delicious fish tacos.

Taco Mary:  Family owned and operated, located near the Fish Market, Taco Mary serves all varieties of delicious seafood tacos.

Loncheria Lupita:  Small, family owned and operated loncheria that serves breakfast and dinner, Lupita's features some of the best chicken tortas that I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy.
