There are many places in Yuma to enjoy a decent breakfast, but locally owned, one-of-a-kind diners that specialize in "American comfort food," seem a little hard to find, as most restaurants are part of a chain, or serve Mexican-oriented breakfasts.  Note:  Read the other Yuma restaurant reviews, and you'll see how much I love Mexican-style breakfasts.  Monday, October 7, 2013, found me in the mood for diner cuisine, and after doing some web surfing before today's activities, I stumbled on Copper Miner Kitchen.

Photo:  This is the "back" side of Copper Miner Kitchen, but with ex-railroad passenger car serving as an annex, I couldn't resist taking the photo from this angle.  The passenger car was closed today, as it's used mostly for overflow and private parties.

Photo:  the dining room is "L-shaped," and quite spacious, and features mostly tables.  There is 1960's rock and roll music playing in the background, and on this Monday morning, all patrons seemed to be retired folks.  I guess I fit right in...

Photo:  My friendly server, Mandy, has just placed my delicious order on the table.  She was amazed that I wanted her photo, but I used my standard line that "I love to take photos of beautiful women," and that did the trick. Yes, I do love to take photos of beautiful women!

Photo:  Upon my request, Mandy was gracious to take my photo.  Note the view in the background, looking into the railroad car annex.  Due to the inexpensive price of the meal, the great service, and the quality of the meal, I left Mandy a more than generous tip.

Photo: My $3.95 breakfast, cooked perfectly, and lots of it.  Note the small cup of house salsa, which is a de facto standard side dish from Yuma, and the town is located only a few miles north of the Mexican border.  The sourdough toast was some of the best I've had in a long time, as it was coated with melted, "real" butter, and was nice and warm.  This breakfast was amazing!

You can't beat breakfast at Copper Miner Kitchen, as at $3.95, my breakfast was dirt cheap, and at the price of $1.90 for an entire pot of delicious coffee, that's about the price that you'd pay for a single cup of coffee in a Las Vegas hotel restaurant!  The breakfast was inexpensive, but it was delicious, and cooked perfectly.  If you're in the mood for an outstanding breakfast, at a rock-bottom price, look no further than Copper Miner Kitchen.
