Beans, onion rings, fried potatoes, coleslaw are just a few of the traditional side dishes served with barbecue. If you grill includes a side burner, why not have a pot of beans simmering on the side while you grill your masterpiece. Or, get out that deep fryer to make some delicious fries or onion rings. The possibilities are endless... Grilled Corn: Corn on the cob, grilled on your outdoor grill in its husk, is a delicious, fun and healthy way to cook America's favorite vegetable. Carolina Coleslaw: This style of coleslaw is the de facto standard of the eastern Carolinas, and it compliments any grilled or barbecued meal. Pot Beans: A southwestern, or western staple; you'll find a pot of beans simmering on the side burner or many grills or the back burners of many ranges west of the Mississippi River. Chili Beans: A favorite of family get-togethers, and pot lucks, this dish features grilled steak slices in a pot of seasoned chili beans. Bennie's Beans: We had a pot luck at work, and a friend and co-worker Bennie Johnson brought this dish, and it became an instant favorite. Cowboy Beans: This is a recipe that I came up with, that captures the flavor of the southwest, and will make you think that you're eating from a chuck wagon. Baked Beans: Wow your diners with this Southern-style recipe, as it offers a very different slant on baked beans, as it includes delicious peach pie filling, bacon, barbecue sauce, and other goodies... Homestyle Fries: Forget baking that frozen package of homestyle fries! Get out your deep fryer, follow my easy recipe, and you'll have delicious fries that your family will rave over. Homemade Fries: If you want to take the fry one step further, and you like to make your fries completely out of scratch, you can't go wrong with this easy recipe. Hushpuppies: No southern barbecue is complete without delicious hushpuppies, served on the side. Fried Zucchini: This recipe duplicates the fried zucchini that you'll find served as a side dish at many fast food restaurants and barbecue joints. Onion Rings: Homemade onion rings are easy to make and this recipe will quickly become a family favorite. Battered Onion Rings: Similar to my other recipe for onion rings, this recipe uses a heavy batter that features a exotic, flavorful ingredient: Beer! Period. Battered Potato Weges: Imagine this... cutting a potato into weges, coating it with beer batter, and frying it to golden brown perfection in your deep fryer. Twice Baked Potatoes: This easy-to-make recipe is a variation of a steakhouse classic, and everybody who eats these potatoes raves about them. Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers: Imagine this... jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream and Mexican cheese, onions and fresh garlic, wrapped in bacon, and grilled to perfection on your grill. Grilled Stuffed Chili Peppers: Delicious alturnative to deep frying, you simply stuff a poblano chili pepper with grilled squash, potato, corn, and more, and then grill the whole thing. Delicious!
