Fifteen beers on tap... brewed in small batches... locally sourced ingredients... brewed in-house... thanks a talented and friendly brewmaster... Granite Bay Brewing Company is a true local, microbrewery, located in the Granite Bay district of Roseville, CA. As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences. Photo: It's a little past the 11:00 weekend opening time, Saturday, July 25, 2026 and I've arrived at Granite Bay Brewing Company to enjoy a couple pints of delicious, Placer County microbrew. Granite Bay is an upscale, unincorporated community part of Roseville, CA, located east of Roseville proper, and stretches east out to the shores of Folsom Lake. Photo: It had been EXACTLY one week, almost to the minute since my previous visit, and I knew what I wanted... "Uno Mas," a classic, mellow, full-flavored Mexican lager beer, straight from the tap. Photo: Meet today's bartender, Dan, a super friendly guy who treated me like his brother. Like all the staff at Granite Bay Brewing Company, Dan was super friendly and treated me like a rock star. Photo: I say "Uno Mas!" with pride, as I toast bartender Dan, along with the beautiful Saturday morning in late July, 2026. Si... Uno Mas! Photo: After enjoying a couple sips of this delicious, refreshing Mexican lager beer, I toast Dan as he arranges chairs to get the taproom ready for the day. The complete microbrewery can be seen in the photo behind Dan. Granite Bay Brewing Company is truly a microbrewery. Photo: As you enter the brewery, you'll notice the bar, with all 15 beers on tap. You walk up to the bar, place your order, and the friendly bartender will pour your beer, direct from the tap. The taproom is furnished with a long , high table in the center, surrounded by smaller, high tables. The decor is comfortable, and both elegant and rustic. It's a little past the 11:00 weekend opening time, Saturday, July 18, 2026 and I've arrived at Granite Bay Brewing Company to enjoy a couple pints of delicious, Placer County microbrew. Photo: The taproom has several video monitors, tuned to live sports, and today, it's all about soccer, as England is playing Mexico in FIFA soccer action. This friendly couple was enjoying the match while enjoying a flight of beer. Later, they invited me to join them, which was really nice. I'm not much of a soccer fan, but I appreciate that it's a powerhouse when it comes to sports, and I appreciate the athletic effort and the non-stop action the game offers. Photo: Meet Carter, the Brewmaster and all around nice guy as he shows me the vats where the fine beer is brewed. All beer is brewed where you see it, in-house, as Granite Bay Brewing Company is a true microbrewery. Photo: The menu is posted on a video monitor above the bar, which makes for easy changes. The menu is mostly static, but there are occasional changes. The brewmaster knows not to dabble with perfection. Photo: Fifteen beers on tap... Bartender Tyler pours my first beer, which happens to be #7, "Hopwire," a full-bodied West Coast IPA. Photo: Meet Tyler, today's friendly bartender, who smiles with my pint of "Hopwire." There is nothing better than a pint - or three - of a robust West Coast IPA brewed at this fine microbrewery. Photo: Cheers! I raise my glass of "Hopwire" and toast the friendly staff at Granite Bay Brewing Company and all that is good in the world. Photo: My first pour was a pint of #7 from the menu, "Hopwire," which is a classic West Coast IPA. Such a great way to get a late Saturday morning started the "west coast" way! If you love the taste of hops, you'll love this beer, as with the first sip, I could taste the hops. But... the hops wasn't overpowering, and the beer wasn't bitter, as it was simply well bodied, slightly, very slightly on the sweet side, and simply delicious. You're talking about a great gold country beer! Photo: Number 6 on the menu, "Uno Mas," a classic Mexican lager beer was last my second and last beer on today's microbrew agenda, but like the old saying goes, "last but not least..." Uno mas cerveza! Otra vez! Classic, mellow, full-flavored Mexican lager beer, with much more flavor than your run-of-the-mill, mainstream, commercial American lager beers. This beer was simply amazing, and when I closed my eyes, by taking a sip, I could imagine being in a Mexican cantina in Ensenada, as this fine beer tasted exactly like countless beers I've enjoyed during my many trips to Mexico. Muy sabroso! Brewmaster Carter knows how to brew exceptional beer, and how to treat guests like family, with welcoming conversation and a friendly smile. The beer is cold and refreshingly delicious, the taproom is comfortable, and the atmosphere is friendly. When you're in the mood for some of the best craft beer brewed locally in Placer County, look to Granite Bay Brewing Company, located on Auburn Folsom Rd, in the Granite Bay district of Roseville, CA.
