Breezy's Wings and Wheels Restaurant is a family-friendly diner, known for delicious food, generous portions, friendly atmosphere AND a view of runway attion of Red Bluff Municipal Airport, in Red Bluff, CA. As you enjoy all of your breakfast and lunch favorites, you can watch airplanes take off and land, and savor all of the aviation atmosphere. As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences. Photo: It's a little past the 07:00 morning opening time, Saturday, May 16, 2026 and I've arrived at Breezy's Wings and Wheels, located at the Red Bluff Municipal Airport, in Red Bluff, CA, to enjoy a fine breakfast of "Americana" diner cuisine. This fine restaurant combines delicious diner-style cuisine with an aviation atmosphere - both inside and outside - the windows face the active runway and ramp so you can watch airplanes take off and land as you enjoy a delicious meal. If you're a pilot flying in to enjoy a meal, you'll find convenient tie-downs near the restaurant, and 100LL and Jet A fuel available. Photo: The restaurant is located inside the Airport Administration building, across the hall from the pilot's lounge. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be in one of two dining rooms, separated by a partition. You'll note the aviation decor, which helps to set the mood. The windows, with the view of the runway make the delicious food the restaurant serves taste even better! Photo: The main dining room features several tables, the cash register/greeter's station and the entrance to the kitchen. This dining room is also the largest and offers the best view of the runway, so it was natural that I chose to dine in this room. The restaurant was very busy on this early Saturday morning, thanks to the "Airport Day" event being held at the airport today. If you're in the mood for outdoor dining, there are a couple of picnic tables in front of the restaurant, very close to he tarmac, which offer a superior view of the airport action. I normally enjoy dining outside, but it was super windy and a little chilly this Saturday morning, so I elected to dine inside. Photo: The breakfast menu features all of your favorites, and is served any time the restaurant is open. Since the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only, if you were in the mood for a burger for breakfast, the friendly staff would be more than happy to serve you from the lunch menu. I considered ordering a cheeseburger and fries, but the "Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs" carried my morning. Photo: The kitchen offers a window where you can look inside and watch the talented staff working their magic. Photo: The friendly staff seemed happy that I snapped their photo. All of the staff at Breezy's Wings and Wheels were super friendly, they made me feel welcome and treated me like family. Photo: Meet Bri, my amazingly friendly server who brought my breakfast to me with a friendly smile. She made me feel at home and treated me like family. Photo: I'm a happy guy, as I raise a toast to my hostess Bri, Breezy's Wings and Wheels, and the delicious breakfast I'm about to enjoy. The breakfast was so delicious that I didn't even consider using any condiments from the condiment basket on the table. Photo: From the "Breakfast" menu, I went with "Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs," with hash brown potatoes and sourdough toast as my sides and two fried eggs. Check the menu for options, because at Breezy's, you'll enjoy your breakfast cooked to order. The showcase of my breakfast was the chicken fried steak, covered with delicious country gravy. The patty was a generous size - most likely around 6 oz or so - seasoned and pounded thin. The meat was battered, and fried to a perfect golden brown, crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender inside. The batter was light and crispy, and complimented the taste and texture of the meat, but didn't overpower it. The meat was covered with a generous portion of some of the best breakfast gravy that I've enjoyed during my "foodie" travels to Tehama County. The gravy was robust and rich, perfectly seasoned and had lots of chunks of juicy sausage to really make the gravy complete. The large slab of hash brown potatoes was perfectly fried to a beautiful golden brown on the outside, with just the right amount of "crisp," with the inside being fluffy and tender. Like the steak and the gravy, the hash browns were perfect. My two eggs arrived as ordered, fried sunnyside up, which is my go-to way to enjoy fried eggs with hash brown potatoes. The side of sourdough toast included two pieces of delicious sourdough bread, perfectly buttered and toasted. One bite into the chicken fried steak was a bite to remember, as I was rewarded with a delightful combination of the taste of the crispy batter, the juicy meat, and the savory gravy. Simply a bite that was heaven sent! The eggs, hash browns and toast worked well with he chicken fried steak. This breakfast was simply delicious! Photo: One bite of chicken fried steak, covered with gravy. This breakfast was out-of-this-world delicious! File a flight plan to Red Bluff, strap yourself into your Bonanza, your Cherokee or even your grandfather's Cub and take the flight to Breezy's Wings and Wheels, a "foodie" destination for hungry pilots, and anyone who loves general aviation and delicious "comfort food." You'll enjoy the amazing diner cuisine, the super friendly service and all of the airport action, as you enjoy your meal. Great food, friendly service, and a fun, aviation atmosphere... it all happens at Breezy's Wings and Wheels Restaurant, located at the Red Bluff Municipal Airport in Red Bluff, CA.
