On this Friday evening, April 25, 2014, I felt lazy, as I was still recovering from a full breakfast enjoyed at today's meeting of the Sacramento Breakfast Club, so I just opted to make a very simple ham sandwich on the trusty George Foreman Grill, inside our house, on the island, in our kitchen. Photo: It rained all day today, I was lazy, and I'd enjoyed a large breakfast, so I elected to take the "lazy way" out and grill indoors, using my trusty George Foreman electric grill. I'm grilling small, Yukon Gold potatoes, pasilla pepper, and bacon slices for my simple ham sandwich dinner tonight. Photo: Grilled ham sandwich, featuring two slices of ham, three slices of bacon, and a lot more, on a ciabatta sandwich roll. OK, the "alot more" includes avocado, onion, tomato, grilled pasilla pepper, and provolone cheese. Garnishes are butter and mustard. Side dish is grilled potato weggies, and ketchup for dipping. I love this kind of dinner! Not shown in the photo, but there is a Mexican beer or two lurking in the shadows... Copyright(c) 2014 eRench Productions, Inc. All rights reserved.
