Welcome to restaurant and dining reviews of restaurants where we've eaten in the beautiful state of Nevada. El Marques: Delicious Mexican food in Tonopah, served in a dining room, with a full service bar, giant screen television and a sports bar atmosphere, with a Mexican twist. Big Ed's Alley Inn: Located on Fourth Street in Reno, Ed's features delicious food and drink, served by friendly staff, in an attractive dining room. Diamond's 24-Hour Diner: Bargain-priced diner cuisine, in a no-frills setting. Delicious food, and you can't beat the price! Bruno's Country Club: Restaurant/casino/motel and RV park, Bruno's has the only restaurant in Gerlach. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the price is very reasonable. Jack's Cafe: A favorite of the locals since 1986, Jack's offers delicious breakfast and lunch served by friendly staff. Caters to the taste of the Sparks locals... Nugget Rib Cook-off 2014: Two days of fun, beer, deep-fried vegetable, and lots of delicious ribs, from some of the most talented rib cookers in the country. Peg's Glorified Ham 'n Eggs: Your best bet for breakfast and lunch in Reno, featuring delicious food, friendly staff, large portions, and FREE parking! Nugget Rib Cook-off 2013: I spend three days at the largest rib cookoff, west of the Mississippi river eating ribs, deep fried veggies, and drinking lots of beer. Stage Door Casino: Small dive bar, casino and convieience store, that offers a quarter-pound hot dog, and a Budweiser beer for only $3.00, including tax. Viva Las Vegas! Nobel Roman's Pizza: The pizza is great, and the price is right. Located on the strip, inside Grand Canyon Experience, a convenience store that has everything! Snack Nook: Located inside Best Western Hotel/Casino Royale, on the strip, this small restaurant serves foot-long hot dogs at a loss-leader price. Great dog and a great value! Times Square Hot Dog: Located inside of New York, New York resort, Times Square serves several varieties of delicious hot dogs with a smile! DJ's Taco Bar: Offers two dollar "street tacos" on the Las Vegas Strip, inside of the Hawaiian Marketplace. Tacos are authentic, delicious, bargain-priced, and served by friendly people. Smashburger: Voted as one of the best burgers in Las Vegas, or anywhere, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at our grandson's favorite burger place in Las Vegas. Famous Dave's #3130: Legendary pit barbecue, with dinner for four, served on a garbage can lid. Dave's makes some of the best barbecue that I've enjoyed during my visits to Las Vegas. Mickie Finnz: Serves a HUGE beer-battered fillet of fish, on a mountain of chips, and the meal arrives in a galvanized bucket! Best fish and chips in Las Vegas... and the beer is icy cold! Tacos El Gordo: Now in Las Vegas... their original location is in Tijuana, Mexico! Tacos El Gordo serves delicious tacos, in the style of Tijuana! Chicago Hot Dog: Serves authentic, classic, Chicago-style hot dogs, as authentic as Chicago itself. El Herradero Restaurant: Authentic Mexican cuisine, including breakfast, served by friendly staff, in a comfortable dining room. Located not far from the Las Vegas airport. Claim Jumper: We enjoy a great lunch at the Henderson store. Great atmosphere, great service and outstanding food. Heart Attack Grill: Controversial, sexy, fun, outrageous... Whatever you call it, this restaurant dishes out extraordinary delicious burgers, served by the sexiest "nurses" that you'll ever meet! Fatburger: Located on the strip, Fatburger prepares delicious burger, made to order, along with fat fries. Features outdoor dining, two full service bars, and outstanding people watching! Tacos Mexico: Located within walking distance of the strip, open 24/7, and serves authentic Mexican cuisine, including menudo! Gold 'N Silver Inn: Serves breakfast 24 hours a day, offers old-school dining, and caters to the taste of Reno locals. Our kind of restaurant! Awful Awful Burger: Reno's flagship burger, which is the burger that made Reno famous. Served at the Nugget Diner, this burger lives up to it's name, as it's awful big and it's awful good. Tacos El Rey: Serves tacos fit for a king, and probably the most authentic Mexican food in the Reno area. Bring your Spanish with you, but leave your pesos in Mexico. Nugget Diner: Located within the friendly spaces of the Nugget Casino, this 24/7 diner is as retro as it gets, and serves lots of delicious diner fare, and is home to the famous "Awful-Awful" burger. Americana Café: On the Mezzanine level in Circus Circus Hotel/Casino, this beautiful restaurant serves American diner cuisine, and features American classic breakfast and lunch comfort food. Nugget Rib Cook-off 2010: We spend several days eating ribs, drinking beer, and taking in the sights and sounds of the biggest barbecue event on the West Coast. King's Sausage: Sausage booth set up at Las Vegas Renaissance Festival. Serves all varieties of GIGANTIC sausages on a bun, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and more... Molly's Garden Restaurant: Located in downtown Reno, inside of Fitzgerald's hotel and casino, Molly's is a perfect alturnative to your typical casino buffet. Truck Inn: Truck stop restaurant, motel and casino, in Fernley, it's noted for it's "Americana" style diner cuisine, and it's stick-to-your-ribs truck stop food. La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant: Delicious food, great service, reasonable prices, and huge portions make La Fiesta a must-dine-at restaurant during your visit to Ely. Hotel Nevada: Absolute superlatives: The tallest building in Ely. The only hotel/casino in town. Historic. Steak, eggs, hash brown potatoes, biscuits and gravy served 24/7, for only $4.99! Delicious! Silver State Restaurant: Have you ever enjoyed an elk burger? Especially in the decor of a 1970's roadhouse? Check out the Silver State Restaurant, and you won't be disappointed. Rebel Oil Pizza & Subs: Gas, oil, pizza, and delicious sandwiches can be found in Beatty at Rebel Oil Pizza & Subs. Paddlewheel Restaurant: Located inside Colorado Belle Hotel Casino in Laughlin, you can enjoy an enormous ham steak breakfast for less than $4.00... Twin Wok: The only restaurant in Ely that serves Chinese and Japanese cusine, Jimmy, the friendly owner won't disappoint you, as he offers quality food, fast service, huge portions, at a price that will put a smile on your face. Say When Café: Located within the casino of the same name, Say When Café serves a delicious breakfast... Say, when can you enjoy a delicious breakfast that features authentic Basque chorizo anyplace else? Say when for a delicious breakfast...appoint you, as he offers quality food, fast service, huge portions, at a price that will put a smile on your face. Cisco's Restaurant: Offers patio, indoor seating and take-out dining and they even deliver for a small fee! Varied menu selections, ranging from classic American diner fare, to Mexican food, to hand-scooped ice cream. Cisco's Restaurant at the Banc Club: I enjoy their special New York steak and eggs breakfast, which is available for lunch at the same price, and get treated to delicious food and friendly service. Tonopah Motel: Not excactly a diner or a restaurant, but they serve good coffee in the morning, and are a very unique operation. Raley's Supermarket: The deli in the supermarket produces one of the best tri tip sandwiches that I've enjoyed during my travels to Nevada. Naturally, it's located in Winnemucca! Taco Time: Don't expect authentic Mexican cuisine, but you'll be treated to a decent American-style taco at a very reasonable price. Located in Winnemucca. Subway Sandwich: This place is open for breakfast! If you're a fan of sandwiches, you'll love this place, as is delivers a quality product, served by friendly people, in Winemucca. Wonderful House Chinese Restaurant: Authentic Chinese cuisine in Winnemucca, served in a restaurant that is decorated like a steak house. You can even order a Corona beer!
