Loco's Motive Chew Chew BBQ opened back in August, 2024, and offers amazing barbecue, breakfast, lunch and dinner in Snelling, a small community in rural Merced County, CA. Here is a collection of photos of some of the amazing cuisine that Loco's offers for your dining pleasure... As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences. Photo: Monday, January 13, 2025, it's a simple breakfast that Marc custom made... pigs in a blancket with loaded fries. Photo: Breakfast for Sunday, January 12, 2025 started out with sweet potato biscuit bananas, a la Foster. Photo: Breakfast on this Sunday morning was crispy pulled pork, on top of loaded potatoes, cheese and salsa, topped by two eggs, fried over easy. Photo: Saturday, January 11, 2025, Chef Marc made a special dish for Dan which he called "Dan's Bisquit Stacker." It's properly named, as the dish began with a foundation of "Otis Potatles, covered with sausage gravy, shredded cheese, fried eggs, bacon stips, and topped with two freshly-baked buttermilk bisquits. Delicious! Photo: Looking inside "Dan's Bisquit Stacker," showing all the goodness that Chef Marc's creation has to offer. Photo: Friday, January 10, 2025, and Chef Marc created a special breakfast upon Dan's request... Tri-tip, Otis potatoes "on steorids," gravy, fried eggs along with English muffins. The chef will be happy to create a custom order for you, assuming he has the components on hand. This all began early Friday morning when Dan walked up to the kitchen window and asked Marc to prepare him a breakfast that he hadn't enjoyed before. "Otis Potatoes on Steorids" was the delicious result! Photo: Monday, January 06, 2025, it's a lunch of "Carnitas Tacos." Photo: How many restaurant serve "Bread Pudding?" Loco's does, and you have to ask, as it's not listed on the menu. Photo: Saturday, January 04, 2025 was a day to enjoy Tri-tip, two eggs fried over easy, "Otis Potatoes," two English muffins and a cup or two of fine coffee. Saturday mornings don't get any better! Photo: "French Toast Bagel," enhanced with bacon, hashbrowns and a fried egg. Photo: Photo: Friday, January 03, 2025, and another wonderful breakfast at Locos... with a breakfast of "Lalo's Loco Moco" from the "Breakfast" page of the menu, complete with English muffins and a side of biscuits and gravy. Traditional Hawaiian breakfast, along with a California flair, as Honolulu meets Snelling at Loco's! Photo: Monday, December 23, 2024, Dan returned to enjoy a breakfast of "Tri-Tip Burrito," along with a side of Hatch pepper chili beans, along with a side of sour cream. Photo: Sunday, December 21, 2024, Dan enjoyed "The Rancher's Omelet," with a side of country potatoes and wheat toast for breakfast. The menu describes this amazing omelet as, "Comes with ham, sausage, linguica, bell peppers, onions and cheese." Photo: Saturday, November 30, 2024, Dan returned and ordered lunch. I certainly wish I could have joined him! From the "Appetizer" section of the menu, it was "Nachos," complete with pulled pork, which the menu describes as "Loaded with hatch green chili beans, queso fresco, pico de gallo and sour cream." Thank you, Dan Weir, for the photo. Photo: Keith went with a dish of "Stroganoff, which made for a fine lunch. Photo: Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Dan enjoyed a breakfast of "Lalo's Loco Moco" from the "Breakfast" page of the menu. Such a traditional Hawaiian breakfast, as Honolulu meets Snelling at Loco's!
