The name of the restaurant is a bit complicated, as the ticket reads The Oasis at Death Valley Oasis Dining Room at The Inn Death Valley National Park.  Alright... if this is the way it's described, I'm good with it, but my description is much simpler:  Fine food served by friendly staff!   The Oasis at Death Valley is the ultimate dining experience in Death Valley National Park any way you look at it...

As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  It's a little past 07:30 in the morning, Thursday, November 14, 2022, and we're ready to enjoy another delicious breakfast at The Oasis at Death Valley.  You park in the large parking lot and walk through the hotel to enter the restaurant.

Photo:  The restaurant is located on the third level and features an amazing view of the Panamint Mountains to the west.  When the weather is ideal, beautiful patio dining happens, but today was a tad on the chilly side to enjoy patio dining.

Photo:  You enter the dining room from the hotel lobby, where you'll receive a friendly welcome from a "meeter and greeter," and you'll be seated.  On this Thursday morning, the dining room was a busy place.

Photo:  The dining room is large, spacious, comfortable and decorated in a western theme.  Furniture is all tables and chairs.  Great dining in the desert!

Photo:  The patio wraps around the outside of the dining room and offers beautiful view of the Panamint Mountains to the west, along with views of Badwater Basis to the south.  On this chilly November morning, breakfast wasn't being served on the patio.

Photo:  A portion of the "Breakfast" section of the menu.  Robert and I both ordered from the "House Classics," as we savor a traditional breakfast.  Click on the image or click on THIS LINK to see the full menu the restaurant offers for all meals.

Photo:  As we placed our breakfast orders, our amazingly friendly coffee and water server, Intan, brought coffee and water to our table.

Photo:  I rarely order coffee when I dine, as I enjoy coffee every morning at home.  However after enjoying the delicious aroma of Robert's coffee yesterday morning, I decided to splurge the $4.50 and enjoy a small pot of coffee.  The coffee was simply delicious and it was worth every penny.

Photo:  Meet our amazingly friendly host Moises, who brought our breakfast to us with a friendly smile.  Scroll down this article and you'll see we enjoyed breakfast here yesterday, and we were so impressed with Moises we requested to be seated in the section he was working.  Naturally, he remembered us from the day before.

Photo:  It's a beautiful Thursday morning, and we're enjoying an amazing breakfast at The Oasis at Death Valley. Thanks, Moises for taking the photo.

Photo:  From the "Breakfast" section of the dining room menu, I went with the "Oasis Classic," along with a small pot of the best coffee you'll every enjoy in Death Valley.  The menu describes this fine breakfast as, "Two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, choice of bacon, ham or sausage, choice of toast; white, wheat, rye, sourdough or English muffin."  I describe the breakfast as simply delicious!  At $17.00, the price was right, especially considering the elegant dining offered at The Inn at Death Valley.

My choice of meat was today was ham, and I received a half ham steak which was fork-tender and melt-in-your-mouth juicy.  I ordered my eggs fried over easy and surprise... I went with an English muffin, as I'd enjoyed sourdough toast the previous morning.  Like yesterday morning, my "Oasis Classic" breakfast included a slice of orange or garnish/presentation and a small cup of ketchup.  We asked for a bottle of hot sauce - Tabasco was the only choice offered- but when it was added to the ketchup, it made a great dip for the breakfast potatoes.

I rarely order coffee in restaurants, but after smelling Robert's coffee yesterday, I splurged and enjoyed a small pot of coffee, which is the best coffee served in Death Valley, and maybe all of the Mojave Desert.  The coffee made this amazing breakfast even more delicious!

Such an amazing breakfast at The Oasis Dining Room!

Photo:  Another view of my Thursday morning breakfast of "Oasis Classic," with a half steak of ham as the centerpiece of the plate.  This delicious breakfast, along with the small pot of coffee really got our morning off to a great start!

Such an amazing breakfast!  Let's return to yesterday, where we enjoyed breakfast for the first time at this great restaurant.

Photo:  Wednesday morning, November 13, 2024, we enjoyed our first breakfast at The Oasis at Death Valley, along with the pleasant coffee and water provided to us by Intan.

Photo:  A small wine rack is showcased in the dining room.

Photo:  Our friendly host, Moises, brings breakfast to a nearby table.

Photo:  Meet Moises, our amazingly friendly host who brought breakfast with a friendly smile.  Despite the busy dining room, Moises always found the time to chat with us and exchange pleasantries.  We were so impressed by his fine service that we came back the next morning to enjoy another fine desert breakfast.

Photo:  Good Wednesday morning!  Thanks to our host, Moises for taking our photo as we get ready to enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Oasis at Death Valley restaurant.

Photo:  From the "Breakfast" section of the menu, Robert went with "Omelette Chef's Choice Three." His three choices were bacon, ham and Cheddar cheese.  Sourdough bread, along with three small jars of jam, which was a new experience for me.  I'm not much for jam or jelly, as I prefer butter on my toast.

Photo:  One small plate arrived with elegantly whipped and decorated butter, which worked perfectly on my toast.

Photo:  From the "Breakfast" section of the dining room menu, I went with the "Oasis Classic," which is truly a classic breakfast plate.

My choice of meat was today was sausage, and I enjoyed two delicious sausage patties, which were fork-tender and melt-in-your-mouth juicy.  I ordered my eggs fried over easy and surprise... I went sourdough as my choice of toast. My "Oasis Classic" breakfast included a slice of orange or garnish/presentation and a small cup of ketchup. We asked for a bottle of hot sauce - Tabasco was the only choice the restaurant offered  - but when added to the ketchup, it made a great dip for the breakfast potatoes.

How can you go wrong for enjoying two breakfasts in a row at the only sit-down restaurant, complete with full service, in Death Valley National Park?  This "oasis" of a restaurant offers delicious, full-service dining, in the hottest, driest place in the western hemisphere, at near or below sea level.  Fine dining any way you look at it!
