Legends and Heroes Sports Bar and Grill is, like the name implies, a sports bar, located at the Woodcreek Golf Club, a public golf club, located in Roseville, and well within the "sphere of influence" within the Sacramento Breakfast Club. Photo: If you're in the mood, you can dine outdoors with a fantastic view of the public golf course. However on this sunny Friday morning, December 20, 2013, we weren't in the mood for outdoor dining, as the temperature was just a tad over freezing. However the guy dressed in red was actually sitting outside, and taking the view of the golf course. I did notice that he was enjoying a "Bacon Bloody Mary" drink, which are available at the bar, so, perhaps, he was fortified against the chilly weather. Photo: Legends has two dining rooms, both with full bar access, and both with lots of television screens that show whatever sporting event is in season. Our friendly server, Marilyn, is taking orders, as our group is seated in the center of the "main" dining room. What does that mean? Check out the next photo... Photo: As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice there are two dining rooms, each with a distinct personality. The Sacramento Breakfast Club enjoyed breakfast in the "main" dining room, but, this picture shows the "bar" dining room. Note the high, barrista-style tables and chairs, and the bar in the background. Oh... there's more than breakfast at this restaurant... check out my fine dinner experience, a couple of days before today's breakfast club meeting. Photo: Our friendly server, Marilyn, delivers Dan's breakfast to the table. As you can see in the photo, Legends offers a very open and "airy" dining room experience. Dan seems amazed to have his breakfast delivered in such a timely manner... Photo: For me, totally out of character, I ordered a "Portuguese Scramble" breakfast, even though the extensive menu offers a "Chorizo Scramble," which is more in keeping with me character, considering my Mexican heritage. The menu describes the "Portuguese Scramble" as "Two eggs, scrambled with linguica, green onion, jack and Cheddar cheese, served with grilled hash browns and your choice of toast." That's what the menu says... I say... take a look at this photo, as the breakfast looks DELICIOUS! The photo does not do the breakfast justice, as it was one of the best breakfasts that I've enjoyed in Roseville for quite some time. Oh yes! What a great breakfast! All of the coffee drinkers of our club commented on the QUALITY of the coffee, and of the fact that our coffee mugs were always full, thanks to the efforts of our friendly server, Marilyn. Legends and Heroes Sports Bar and Grill serves a delicious breakfast, and this restaurant is impressive any way that you look at it. Forget your golf game... just enjoy a great breakfast! Legends
