Saturday afternoon, February 12, 2011, my wife and I enjoyed
a lunch "date" at Brookfield's Restaurant in Roseville,
which is number three in the small chain of three Brookfield's
Restaurants in the greater Sacramento, CA area. Photo: Framed by a Sacramento Valley live oak tree that frames the photo, Brookfield's Restaurant stands alone, and beautiful, near busy Interstate 80, at the east end of Roseville, CA.
Photo: As you walk into Brookfield's, this is what you'll see: Friendly faces, an offer of cherry pie, a view of the kitchen, and a sparkling clean, family-friendly dining room. People seem to grin when I take photos... am I weird or what? Photo: My hat is still on, but it goes off to Jennifer, our friendly and efficient server who took this photo of Sharlene and I, before we started to dig into our delicious lunch. Brookfield's Restaurant serves a very balanced menu, which offers something for everybody, and the food is great, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Brookfield's Restaurant represents an outstanding value for dining in the greater Sacramento area.
Photo: Sharlene's lunch of Strawberries Wild! This is before she added the balsamic vinegar. The main entrée consisted of grilled salmon, placed on a bed of fresh spinach, garnished with fresh strawberries.
Photo: Well... what can I say? ... perhaps my lunch doesn't score any points with the health guys, or the green team, but it sure was good! I ordered a Brookfield's Gourmet Avocado Burger with everything! on it... and had the option to choose between somewhat healthy turkey or beef... I chose beef, cooked medium rare, which is the way I like by beef. OK... look at the photo... isn't this a burger to die for? Yes.. it is... Check this out: Bacon... guacamole... cheese... tomato slices... dill pickles.... plus a bed of fries! Not to mention the fact that the dining room in elegant and comfortable, the servers are friendly and efficient, and you coffee cup is always full. Good food, good prices...
