It's a Christmas tradition at the Chick-Fil-A chain of fine restaurants to offer a peppermint milkshake during the month of December, to promote all that is good about this time of year, and the celebrate the Christmas season. If you miss out, you have to wait until next December in order to enjoy one of the delicious milkshakes, and this year, my friend and co-worker, Teri and I didn't want to miss out.  Thursday, December 20, 2012, it was chicken for dinner, and peppermint milk shakes for desert!

Photo:  It's 1915 on Thursday, December 20, 2012, which just happened to be my last full "day" of work at AT&T, after nearly 32 years of service.  As of December 22nd, I'm retired!

Photo:  My friend and co-worker, Teri, places our order from the friendly counter gal, with the open kitchen in the background of the photo.  Like all other fast food restaurants, at Chick-Fil-A, you choose your order from the menu posted above the counter, pay for your order, and find a place to seat.  Unlike many other fast food outlets, Chick-Fil-A, brings your order to your table.

Photo:  Our friendly server, Quiana, brought our order to our table.  If you look closely at the previous photo, she also took our order.

Photo:  It's December, so that means it's peppermint milkshake time at Chick-Fil-A, so Teri and I splurged and each of us ordered a large milkshake.  Man can't live on a milkshake alone, so I ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich, and an order of Waffle Fries.  Teri opted out of a sandwich, and chose Waffle Fries and Chicken Nuggets.  Chick-Fil-A served delicious food!  We love the place!  We also love the core values the corporation holds, with is in-line with our beliefs.

Photo:  My friend and co-worker, Teri McCloud and I enjoy a delicious dinner at Chick-Fil-A.  Thanks Quiana for snapping the photo!  Tonight was my last full evening of work at AT&T, after 31 years, 7 months, and 20 days. Dinner was Teri's treat... thanks!  Teri is a personal friend, and a member of the Sacramento Breakfast Club, so I'll be seeing her and her hubby after retirement.

Like every other Chick-Fil-A outlet that I've had the pleasure to visit, the Alta Arden location produces a superior sandwich, delightful waffle fries, and a peppermint milkshake that you just can't get enough of.  Combine the great food with a clean, family-friendly atmosphere, and staff members who appreciate your visit, and you've got the best fast-food dining experience in Sacramento!
