The small northern California town of Burney is noted for a few things, including beautiful scenery, logging, and most of all, Burney Falls.  You can only take in so much breath-taking scenery, cut so many logs, or admire the waterfalls before you get hungry.  Where do you go in Burney, to enjoy a delicious, lumberjack-style meal, especially breakfast?  Easy... head over to The Blackberry Patch restaurant, for fine, American-style dining, in a family-friendly atmosphere.

As with all of reviews that I publish, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  It's a little after 6 o'clock in the morning, on Friday, June 23, 2017, and I'm ready to enjoy breakfast at Blackberry Patch Restaurant, in Burney, CA.

Photo:  As you walk in the restaurant, you'll find the long counter to your left, and mostly booths to your right.  It's just a few minutes past opening on this early Friday morning, and these two firefighters were the only customers. You can tell Blackberry is serious about breakfast, as they have an absolutely LONG counter.

Photo:  The breakfast menu includes all of your diner "comfort foods" along with American classics, and has all breakfast bases covered.  Note the spelling of the word gravy, as the menu spells it as "gravey."  I truly believe the printed menu has a misspelling, as gravey is not the same as gravy.  "Toast Pancakes?"  Who writes this?  Am I a perfectionist or is it just too darn early in the morning?

Photo:  My very friendly and chatty server, Michelle, brings the breakfast to me, using a one-handed technique to present the food.  In all fairness, she had already set the plate on the counter, and already grabbed the bottle of Windex in her left hand before I requested to take her photo.

Photo:  Thanks, Michelle, for snapping my photo, as I'm ready to enjoy a breakfast of bacon and eggs.  My coffee mug was kept full of delicious coffee during my enjoyable visit to Blackberry Patch Restaurant.

Photo:  My delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash brown potatoes, biscuit and gravy - spelled correctly - along with a bottomless mug of coffee. Great stick-to-your-ribs breakfast, that kept me full for the rest of the day.

As my friendly server, Michelle stated, "The Blackberry Patch serves good food, and plenty of if."  Such a true statement!  After enjoying a wonderful meal, you'll walk away with a full stomach, a smile on your face, and change in your pocket.  When you're hungry, and you're in the mood to enjoy a great meal, in a family-friendly restaurant, look no further than The Blackberry Patch in Burney, CA.
