If you've ever visited beautiful Bishop, in the Eastern Sierra area of California, and you've admired the amazing scenery... after you've taken in the scenery... do you have an appetite?  If Mexican cusine interest you, may I suggest a visit to Astorgas Mexican Restaurant?  If you love delicious Mexican cusine, you won't be dissapointed.

As with all of my reviews, I have no affiliation with the restaurant reviewed, and there is no monetary gain on my part, as I am simply a person who likes to eat, and I love to write-up, and publish my dining experiences.

Photo:  Monday, October 24, 2016, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I'm posted outside of Astorgas Mexican Reastaurant, and I'm ready to enjoy a delicious lunch of fine Mexican cusine in Bishop.  I'd been camping for four days, eating canned food, so I'm ready to enjoy a "real" meal, at a great Mexican restaurant.

Photo:  The main dining room at Astorgas Mexican Restaurant.  The restaurant is quiet, as only few tables are seated, as I hit the restaurant in mid-afternoon, between lunch and dinner.  Quiet means better time to take photos!

Photo:  Since the early afternoon weather was pleasant, as the temperature was in the mid 60's,  I sat outside on the patio to enjoy my lunch.  I ordered a Corona beer, as was served salsa and fresh tortilla chips to enjoy the beatuful afternoon on the lovely patio.

Photo:  As I waited for my meal, I was able to take a peek into the "semi-open" kitchen to take a check of my meal, in progress.  All is good...

Photo:  My lovely server, Anna G., was very camera shy,  and really didn't want her photo taken.   What is it up with amazingly beautiful women? Outside of being camera shy, Anna was a wonderful server, and kept me alive, and very happy.

Photo:  Thanks, Anna, for taking my photo, as I'm ready to enjoy a fine Mexican lunch in Bishop.

Photo:  I ordered "Number 16" from the menu... the Carne Asada platter, with all of the trimmings.  It arrived... yes it arrived... with everything, including a grilled jalapeno pepper.  I found it interesting that the beans were basically "pot beans," albeit dressed in cojilla cheese, but as hungry as I was, after living for 4 days on canned food, I was ready for real food, and the lunch I enjoyed at Astorgas Mexican Restaurant really worked for me, on this late Octover afternoon

The beautiful late October early afternoon was amazing, so it seemed great to enjoy the beautiful day on the patio. When you add the eastern Sierra scenery to wonderful Mexican food, it makes for an amazing experience.  Great Mexican cusine is served at Astorgas Mexican Restaurant, in beautiful Bishop, California.
