I've never had the pleasure to visit Germany, but from what I've read about the country, the people, and especially the food, dining at Bit Of Germany must be very similar to enjoying dining at an old-school restaurant, in Germany. So on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in order to sample the cuisine of Germany, we enjoyed lunch at Bit Of Germany, and via delicious food, we were transported to Germany...

Photo:  Outside, Bit Of Germany even looks German.  Today, Saturday, March 24, 2012, it's a beautiful, spring day, as Tara takes a photo of the sign with her iPhone.

Photo:  The owner of the restaurant, Denise, is behind the counter in the dining room.  The photo gives an idea of the decor, which features lots of paneling and mounted trophies.  Bit Of Germany also has a full-service bar, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anybody that they carry a huge selection of domestic, and German beer.

Photo:  Denise carries Tara's lunch, and mine to our table.  Tara and I are both lovers of hot dogs, so we ordered identical lunches of bratwurst, sauerkraut, and hot German potato salad.  Denise really didn't want her photo taken, but I did it anyway...

Photo:  My delicious lunch of sauerkraut, bratwurst, and German potato salad.  Authentically German and absolutely delicious!

Oh yes!  Bit Of Germany, features the best of old-world, retro decor, friendly service, German beer, authentic German cuisine, and ... German beer!  Leben Sie lang Deutschland! Leben Sie lang deutsche Speise! Hat Von Deutschland gebissen! Ja!!!
