Just a few weeks ago, the popular Sacramento morning television show, "Good Day Sacramento" aired a feature on Four Sisters Café, in Roseville, highlighting the fact that the restaurant is owned by four sisters, the innovative menu and the fact that they're open for breakfast and lunch only.  So, the Sacramento Breakfast Club just had to pay a visit to the cafe, and that visit happened on Friday, November 30, 2012.

Photo:  9 O'clock on super-rainy Friday, November 30, 2012.  Four Sisters Café is located in a prime, corner location, in an upscale shopping mall in Roseville, CA, but if you live in Rocklin, it's convenient, and nearby.

Photo:  The restaurant is mostly booths, but there are tables, and next to the kitchen, at the rear of the restaurant, there is a small counter that offers dining for about six solo diners.  Prior to our visit, I had become "friends" on Facebook with Four Sisters Café, so when Sharlene and I were greeted at the door, I told them who I was - V.I.P. treatment!!!  Awesome! - and we seated at a table for 10, which was custom made for the members of the Sacramento Breakfast Club.

Photo:  Our super-friendly hostess, Tricia, takes our order.  Tricia is one of the "sisters," and a part owner of the restaurant.  You may recall the four "sisters" used to work at nearby Waffle Barn, but fast-forward to 2012, and now they now own and operate Four Sisters Café.  When I asked her for a bit of background information on the restaurant, Tricia gold me that everything is made in-house, from fresh, locally obtained ingredients.  The restaurant opens at 0600, but the staff arrives at 0200 to start the preparation work.  That's the true breakfast spirit!

Photo:  Our friendly server, Tricia, poses, with a smile, as she brings my order of "Portuguese Sausage" to our table.

Photo:  My breakfast of "Portuguese Sausage," home style potatoes, two eggs, an in-house-made biscuit, along with an option side of gravy.  I joked with Tricia that, in the opinion of the members of the Sacramento Breakfast Club, that gravy is the true benchmark of a good breakfast restaurant, and along that vein, Four Sisters Café exceeds the benchmark, as their gravy is spectacular.  Breakfast at Four Sisters Café is as good as it gets... all members of the club agreed that this is a awesome place to enjoy breakfast.  Actually in the "post mortem" meeting in the parking lot, all of today's breakfast members agreed that Four Sisters Café dishes out a superior breakfast!

Photo:  Today's members, of the Sacramento Breakfast Club, from left to right, Teri McCloud, Bev MacLeod, Sharlene Rench, Eric Rench, Matt Donnelly and Dan MacLeod.  Not shown is Teri's husband, Sean, who arrived fashionably late, as he was taking a break from work to enjoy breakfast with the club.

We love to patronize a restaurant like Four Sisters Café, as the place is a unique, one-of-a-kind operation, owned and operated by four sisters.  The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The Sacramento Breakfast Club feels that Four Sisters Café is a welcome addition to the greater Sacramento breakfast landscape!

As an aside... I need to attend a lunch "meeting" and sample one of their hamburgers...
